
Marketing Director for the Czech and Slovak Republics
Method
For this project the research team decided to directly approach the candidates using the executive search method as the main tool in combination with structured interviews.
In order to find the right candidates we created a target list of 30 international companies focusing on optical equipment and/or medical services. Not all addressed candidates were suitable as some of the positions were cumulative and not exclusively marketing related. We identified and addressed 19 suitable candidates - ten of them were interested in the offered position and were willing to come to the structured interview. During this interview we evaluated not only their professional background and their high-level language skills but also their personal qualities, organizational skills, and company culture fit.
Following the structured interviews we presented five suitable candidates to our client. After the interview the client decided to invite three of them for the next round of interviews. We suggested that the chosen candidates would prepare a marketing strategy study in order to find only the best-suited individuals in an efficient and timely manner. The client had chosen the most suitable candidate after this presentation.
Results
This project was finished quickly and successfully thanks to the professional approach of the researcher and consultant as well as the cooperative support and the decisiveness of the customer throughout the entire search process. By using an executive search method we found an experienced marketing manager for the required branch in a short time offering our client a tailor-made solution.
