Method

The position profile was demanding. The client was looking for a candidate who was ready to take the position as the president of the board as well as to manage all process within the company. The candidate also needed to have a strong background in sales. Therefore we targeted candidates with high level management experience in the field of sales within the financial industry, and especially within the insurance sector. An additional factor was that the person needed to have international experience and would be capable to take charge of the company in a short period of time. The project was set up as a classical executive search project and Iventa initiated direct contact with the candidates in the industry.

Results


In the research phase the relevant companies were identified and a target list was compiled. As the industry is well established and a large number of companies operate on the market, the list was quite long. This was an additional difficulty for researchers and consultants because it demanded studious and in depth work to identify the best and most suitable individuals. With the help of cutting-edge research techniques though, Iventa identified potential candidates which were contacted and invited for an initial discussion with the Iventa consultant. Finally, we presented five candidates to our client who were the best on the market at that time. We also supported our client in their interviews with the presented candidates. After the interviews and a final discussion with the Iventa consultant, our client was sure they had found the right candidate for their company. Later company results confirmed they had taken the right decision as well as proved the value of Iventa's approach within the field of executive search.
