Search project for an international client


Our client is a leading international, publicly listed company in the field of energy and environmental services operating in 20 countries with more than three million customers. The client contacted us after further expanding to southern Croatia and surrounding countries. After discussing starting points and position they decided to instruct Iventa a Search and selection project for several positions.

Methods

The challenge of the project was to identify candidates from different geographic locations within the country willing to relocate as well as to find suitable candidates on the market with regard to the required profile, since there were very few candidates with the working experience required for the job. The candidates had to have high technical know-how in the given field, excellent sales and presentation skills as well as experience in dealing with the governmental sector and with sate and local authorities.

Because of the diversity of the positions we decided to implement a mixture of Executive Search, Search and Selection and online advertising.

  • We initiated thorough and detailed identification of target companies and institutions in order to find candidates for management and specialist positions
  • Identification of suitable candidates working in these companies and institutions was done as part of the Executive Search process
  • Online job advertising on leading job portals and newspaper campaigns allowed to reach candidates for administrative functions
  • Searching potential, suitable candidates in our own internal database was also implemented as a standard search method

Because the energy sector is of strategic importance in any country and therefore also a sensitive matter, the direct addressing was done discreetly and suitable candidates were shortlisted. After consulting with the client, interviews were performed in our office. With this mixed methods implemented by Iventa, our client received an excellent overview of the current situation on the labor market for various positions.

Results


Based on the methods implemented and the suggestions made by Iventa, our client successfully employed several candidates in key positions. In addition to that, the client also employed candidates in administrative positions which provided the company with an excellent base for further success on the market. As this client has a constantly growing structure, Iventa became the most reliable partner in the company's further employment projects as well as in general HR topics.
