Potential Analyses/Assessment
Concept & Coordination In order to find the right candidate and to reach a sound decision in this placement process Iventa has been supporting the client by implementing an employee potential analysis, with the PERLS online assessment as well as competence-oriented interviews. PERLS is a combination of a web-based database and a scientifically founded, psychological test procedure that serves as a base for interviews for recruitment and HR development. We are using this online assessment tool as a ”guideline” for interviews in the context of this potential analysis but it can also be used for development processes, management audits, skill assessments and recruiting projects. In coordination with our client we are defining the competencies and requirements of the specified positions which must be met. Based on the already existing competence-model of our client, Iventa is also developing an individual competence-model and defining behavioral patterns to analyse during the assessment process, such as leadership competency, corporate competency, social competency and change management competency Implementation of the Potential Analyses In order to analyze the candidates’ competencies we will use the computer-based, psychological PERLS online assessment and then afterwards, a detailed, competence-based interview with each candidate is conducted by experienced Iventa consultants. During this interview the candidates are evaluated on previously defined competencies and personal qualifications. The PERLS results are taken into consideration for this process as well. Results Iventa prepares a written report on each candidate which includes the results of the PERLS online assessment as well as a summary of the structured interview. We define strengths and areas of development as well as measures to fill gaps in the candidates’ skills. The results are then discussed with our client and we provide a well-founded basis to reach a sound decision. We will also discuss alternatives for those participants who will not be considered for one of the four Managing positions in order to retain them in the company. Iventa carries out a feedback session with the participants as well, informing them of the results, thereby initiating self-reflection and generating commitment in regard to further development in the placement process. | ![]() | |
